Can Bedrock Be Broken In Survival

You’ve probably noticed, if you’ve ever dug to the bottom of the world, that bedrock is indestructible in survival mode. Real-world bedrock is hard, but absolutely breakable – and most large buildings are anchored into the bedrock with structures called “foundations”.

Can you break bedrock in survival?

Bedrock is a block that is not intended to be broken in Survival mode. To be fair it is still possible to break the unbreakable in Survival mode without cheats. Breaking bedrock is also more difficult than phasing through it, both of which are covered in this article.
