“Free Days” are the days during your vacation where you don’t go to the theme parks. We scheduled our ‘free day’ in the middle of our vacation to give us a ‘break’ from the busy touring schedule of the theme parks. It’s a great way to relax, take a swim in your own resort pool and ‘Resort Hop’.
Can you visit Disney resorts for free?

You do not need a theme park ticket to access and enjoy Disney’s BoardWalk Area – this shopping, dining, and entertainment location is open to all guests. Of course, if you will have a personal vehicle, parking is available at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn parking lot.

How long does the Skyliner take from art of animation to Hollywood Studios?
So about 12 minutes in the air, and a few minutes transferring from one Skyliner to another. There is a limited bus service between the resort and the park, but it is not as frequent as most resort-to-park buses, so the Skyliner is by far the best way to go.
Is the Disney Skyliner worth it?
It is fun and a unique experience. The only reason I didn’t give it 10/10 is because the lines get crazy long in the morning and rival other forms of transportation, but the line moves fairly quickly. It’s very much worth the wait! Way more fun than a bus!.
Where is the Skyliner at Art of Animation?
The Disney Skyliner station that you’ll be using is located on Generation Gap Bridge, which connects Disney’s Art of Animation Resort with Disney’s Pop Century Resort. The station is not more than a 5 or 10-minute walk from any of the buildings, but I would say that the Finding Nemo area has the closest access.
Can you take the Skyliner to Disney Springs?

Does Art of Animation have luggage carts?
You will just need to stop by Bell Services and ask to borrow a cart so that you may collect your luggage from your car and bring it to them. On my most recent visit, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort held on to my luggage for me, since I had a late flight.
