Question: How Do You Clean Filter Media

Disassemble the filter so you can get at the media and impeller. Clean the media by giving it a good swish and squeeze in some old tank water. Use a small brush, sponge, or bit of filter floss to clean the impeller, the impeller housing and filter housing. Use a small brush etc. to clean out inlets and outlets.

Can you rinse filter media?
