Can you make flexible 3D prints?

Overview. Flexible filaments are made of Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) which are a blend of hard plastic and rubber. There are several types of TPE, with Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) being the most commonly used among 3D printing filaments.

Can Ender 3 print flexible filaments?

Eliminating the Bowden tube entirely allows your Ender 3 to be much more precise while using flexible filaments, and indeed while printing in general. The shorter filament path and increased traction give a much better chance of success while printing with flexibles.

What temperature should I print my flexible filaments?

The temperature at which TPU filament will extrude is 220–250 degrees. A heated build platform is not required, but when used the temperature should not be higher than 60 degrees.
