Here’s how to do it. Trim any loose threads and fibers. Clean the area surrounding the rip inside and out. Steam the area surrounding the rip inside and outside. Apply Tenacious Tape to the inside of the tent. Apply Seam Grip to the outside of the tent. Allow it to dry for 24 hours.

Will duct tape repair a tent?

If you don’t have a tent repair kit, or only have a small hole, you can look to duct tape. Tear off two equal size strips that will completely cover the hole. Place a piece of tape on the inside and one on the outside, so both sticky sides are touching. That will create a pretty strong patch.

Can I use duct tape to repair tent?
