Where do you mount a radiator overflow tank?

2. Choose a mounting position for the overflow tank. Be sure that there is enough room to connect a hose(s) to the bottom of the tank without interference from any other components. It is recomended to use the side tank of your Flex-a-fit radiator to mount the overflow tank.

How do you hook up a coolant overflow tank?

Connect 1/4” coolant hose from the radiator to the overflow tank using the SHORT metal tube on the bottom of the overflow tank. Be careful not to plug the LONG metal tube. This is used as an air vent to the tank. Secure the hose in place so as not to diconnect during use.
