Is 8K Worth Buying

From what we’ve seen, there’s little image quality improvement over 4K TVs. Any image quality improvement we’ve seen required sitting very close to a very large screen. To get the most out of any 8K TV, you need actual 8K content. In the next few years 8K TVs will get cheaper and perhaps actually be worth considering.

Can the human eye see 8K?

For a person with 20/20 vision, the human eye can see an 8K image with clarity and precision when they are unreasonably close to the display to see the whole image. For a 75-inch television, the viewer would have to be less than 2 and a half feet away to discern the difference between two pixels.
