What are Forge World models?
Forge World is a subcompany of Games Workshop Inc. that creates models outside of the normal auspices of Games Worshop. It is a company similar to Black Enterprises and Warp Artefacts, dedicated to creating high quality, exotic miniatures for passionate gamers.
Why is Forge World a thing?
As some of you know Forge World was started after Games Workshop terminated their license with a company called Armorcast. Then, as now, the primary goal of Forge World was to provide optional, expensive models (like the original all-metal thunderhawk) at a premium price for hard-core fans.
Can I use Forge World models?
If you want to use your Forge World models for now, you should grab the relevant books while you can. The datasheets in each Imperial Armour index will remain official until new rules are published, so the books are still your go-to option for getting your miniatures onto the tabletop.
Does GW own Forge World?

Unfortunately, they only had house rules and were not official for tournaments. As the editions rolled on, most tournaments did not allow Forge World models. The reason for this was that not everyone has access to the models, and many times the rules for those models were a bit on the powerful side.

This is caused by the release agent that our Production team use to remove the parts from the moulds. You will need some warm water and a mild abrasive cleaner such as washing-up liquid.
Is Forge World resin toxic?

The entrance to this area is located directly under the Quarry on the side of the cliff in the far north corner of the map. This area of the map was designed to give forgers a traditional area to forge.

Will Super Glue work on resin?
Superglue Even though resin is a type of plastic, glues used for plastic kits are not effective at sticking resin pieces together, a good superglue is required instead. As epoxy can take a long time to dry, you can put some superglue on part of the area to hold it in place whilst the epoxy is drying.
