What is Sculptris used for?

What happened to Sculptris?

As of June 10, 2020, support for Sculptris has now been discontinued. Pixologic has now released the ZBrushCoreMini application. This newest member of the ZBrush family is a free digital sculpting solution with a streamlined interface designed to be incredibly easy for users of all ages and skill levels to learn.

What is the difference between ZBrush and Sculptris?

Sculptris is made by the same developers as Zbrush, Pixologic but is a much more strimmed down version of Zbrush regarding its methods to generate more polygons and its full feature set. Sculptris uses a local adaptive subdivision method in which more polygons are added according to the size of the brush.

Can you animate in Sculptris?
