When To Cut Fresh Sod

When the soil is prepared properly and the sod is watered regularly after installation, sod is usually ready to mow between 10 days to 2 or 3 weeks. In poor conditions where there is a lot of heat stress or other interfering conditions, sod may take as long as 6 weeks to become mow ready.

How long should I wait to cut new sod?
